Booking Terms

Prices are per room per night (based on a maximum of 2 people per room) for bed and breakfast and are inclusive of VAT.

Booking
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure the booking.
A reservation is only confirmed when the deposit is received. 
The balance is payable 8 weeks before arrival.
We reserve the right to cancel the booking for late payment of the balance.
Payment can be made by credit or debit card.

Cancellation Policy
All payments are non-refundable.

In the event that you require to cancel your booking, please let us know immediately by email. We will endeavour to re-let your room. In the event that we are able to re-let the property, we will refund any payment made, less any costs or discounts given to secure a new booking.However, in the event that we are unable to re-let your room, we reserve the right to retain any payments made.

Insurance
We recommend that you take out suitable insurance to cover you in the event of cancellation or curtailment, and for peace of mind.

Restrictions
Guest under 18 are not permitted.
Pets are not permitted.

Arrival and Departure
The 3Cities Auberge is available from 1500 hr on day of arrival 

until 1100 hr on day of departure.

Please enquire if you need to arrange alternative times to suit flights
We are happy to store luggage for you for earlier arrivals or later departures.

Age Requirement Policy
Guests must be 18+ years of age, with passport provided upon check in.

Guests in Room
Only registered guests are permitted in the rooms and entire property. Non-registered people are not allowed in the property without consent of the owner.

Taxes
7% VAT is included in our accommodation pricing.
18% VAT is included in all other charges.

Environmental Contribution
€0.50 per person per night capped at €5.00 per person per continuous stay. Payable on check out, and not subject to VAT.

Room Make-up
Operates daily from 1000-1400. Rooms will only be serviced during this time providing the "Make Up My Room" sign has been placed on the outside of the door handle before 1200

Breakfast Service
Operates every day between 0800 and 10.00. 

Early breakfast can be requested especially for the business guests. 

Honeymoon Breakfast served to the room can be requested, or served to the roof terraces on special request.                                                             

Smoking Policy
Our health & safety and that of all guests is of paramount importance therefore all smoking (including E-Cigarettes) is totally forbidden within The 3Cities Auberge.  Our property is fitted with the latest smoke detector technology and guest whom ignore our/this policy will be ejected immediately, without any monetary compensation. Additionally, a €300 cleaning fee will also be charged. Guests are asked to make use of our roof terraces, where ashtrays are provided.

Candle Policies
Use of candles and/or any other items requiring a flame is a fire hazard and as such are totally forbidden within The 3Cities Auberge.  Our property is fitted with the latest smoke detector technology and guest whom ignore our/this policy will be ejected immediately, without any monetary compensation. In the event a guest causes our smoke detection system to be activated, a €250 fee will be charged to the guest.

Use of kitchen
We operate as a bed and breakfast, which is not classed as self-contained accommodation. Therefore the use of the kitchen and its associated equipment is strictly forbidden. A €300 cleaning fee will be charged in the event any guest chooses to ignore this policy.

​Accessibility
The 3Cities Auberge is located on a hill, a steep but short walk from the water front, which also encompasses the beautiful stone steps outside the magnificent Oratory.

The entrance is approachable by wheel chair, followed by two steps down to enter, this will require the use of a removable ramp, and another for the step down to reception and breakfast room area if using a mobility aid.

We have one room on the ground floor, a double room with a roll-in wet room fitted out with mobility aids (grab rails, shower seat and special designer toilet and sink)

All other rooms are on the next two floors. First floor, up 17 steps with handrail to one side, with seating available  in our library area on the way up. The second floor is found another 24 steps more with use of handrail to one side.

Our "secret hidden room" is only accessible via ways of a narrow stone spiral staircase with only the stone hand carved edging to hold onto. The width of the stairwell is between 50-70 cm wide, therefore large/heavy luggage will not pass easily or comfortably. Hand luggage size bags fit easily.
